Race Bonuses

Guardian Angel

Cost: Variable, 1 White Mana = 1 Damage Protected

An Angel with this ability is able to defend a teammate and shield them from some damage. Once per combat encounter, a player with Guardian Angel is able to defend another character within their battlefield from damage up to a number equal to your magical power. The Guardian Angel ability must be used before the damage dice are rolled. To use Guardian Angel, pay one white mana for each damage you would like to protect against and declare the amount of damage you are going to protect against.

For each (+1) added to the Guardian Angel ability, the player can protect against an additional point of damage.

Divine Strike

Cost: Variable, 1 White Mana = 1 Additional Damage

An Angel can call on the power of the divine to strengthen their attacks. Once per day, a player can pay a number of white mana up to their magical power level to add an equal amount of damage to their melee or ranged damage dice pool. This ability must be called upon before the player rolls for damage.

For each (+1) added to the Guardian Angel's ability, the player can add an additional 1/2 (one-half) damage point per mana spent, rounded down. So, for example, if a player with Divine Strike +1 uses the ability and pays 5 mana, they would get to add an additional 7 dice to their damage pool (5 x 1.5 = 7.5 --> 7 damage rounded down).
